Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Delhi Upon arrival at the New Delhi International Airport, after immigration procedures, baggage and customs clearance, we will received by our representative and transfer to the hotel with your private car. Delhi, or New Delhi, is the capital of India and an important gateway to the country. It is a metropolis that combines the old and the modern. |
Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing After breakfast, a full day delhi tour with your private car and guide, visiting the fascinating Old Delhi, a unique experience in the old walled city. In the morning, visit the Red Fort, the most opulent of the Mughal Empire. The fort is the symbol of the empire of its founder, Shah Jehan, built behind red sandstone walls. Its main gate (Lahore Gate) is close to several crowded bazaars, great for shopping. Then visit the Raj Ghat, the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial ; and Jama Masjid , the largest mosque in India. In the afternoon, tour around New Delhi with a visit to Humayun’s Tomb , Qutub Minar , Sikhs (Gurdwara Bangla Sahib) and Rajpath boulevard , India Gate, Parliament and presidential residence. |
Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur After breakfast, transfer to Jaipur (240km, approximately 5h30). On the way, stop for lunch at the Samode Palace. The 475-year-old Palace is an example of the blend of Indian and Mughal architectural styles. Arrival in Jaipur, the capital of the province of Rajasthan, is known for its handicrafts, jewellery, hand-painted fabrics and stone carvings. It is one of the best examples, north of India, of a planned city. |
Day 4: Jaipur After breakfast, a full day private tour with a Spanish-speaking guide to the Amber Fort. Far above the city, the palace sits inside a huge complex, lined with halls, gardens, pavilions and temples. In the afternoon, visit the City Palace, where there is a strong mixture of the traditional Rajasthan and Mughal culture. The museum has a collection of royalty clothing, rugs, an arsenal of weapons, miniature paintings depicting court scenes, battle scenes and processions. Another point worth visiting is Jantar Mantar, an observatory built in 1726. Then stop for photo at the Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds. In the late afternoon, a scenic tour of the city with a visit to a Birla temple. |
Day 5: Jaipur - Agra After breakfast, drive to Agra, which is 236 km from Jaipur, a 5-hour drive through the road. On the way, stop for a visit to Abhaneri, and stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a desert red sandstone city built by Emperor Akbar as its capital. The ‘city’ was abandoned a few years after it was built. It was a fairytale town and its “ruins” are still in good condition. It is not hard to imagine what the court life was like in its glory days. After lunch, continue to the trip to Agra. Agra was the capital of India in the times of the Mughal Empire, in centuries 16th and 17th. During this period, the city became a major centre of art, science, commerce and culture. Overnight stay in Agra. |
Day 6: Agra – New Delhi Wake up early in the morning for sunrise taj mahal tour. Explore sunrise view of Taj Mahal. After breakfast drive back to Delhi. On arrival transfer to airport to board flight for onward journey. |
